All students, faculty and staff have access to many shared computing and networking resources. The College strives to provide an atmosphere that encourages access and sharing of information on local, national, and international levels. The users in the College must bear the responsibility to use these resources in keeping with the professional and ethical standards of conduct, which the College promotes. Use of these resources should be considered a privilege, and be treated as such. Users must be sensitive to the public nature of shared facilities.
All users must refrain themselves from the following :
- Unauthorized use or misuse of any Computer System, Communication Network;
- Use of facilities to interfere with the normal operation of the College Computing System;
- Destruction of unauthorized removal of, or damage to equipment, software, or data belonging to Metas Adventist College or other users and
- Tampering, modification, or additions to network software, hardware, or wiring.
